Nothing matches the excitement of seeing and hearing thousands of well-tuned, metal-flaked, custom-chromed, fat-tired, open exhaust works of rolling art cruising down Ruidoso, New Mexico’s main street. During four days in May that is exactly what happens!

The annual “AspenCash Motorcycle Rally” hits towns May 19th through the 22nd this year and promises to be the best yet. With a $10,000 poker run, 33,000 sq ft trade show and some of the most spectacular riding country God ever created, you’ll soon know why this is one of the most popular and respected Rallys held in the Southwest.

Riders journey from all over the United States and points beyond to renew old friendships and shake off winter’s cobwebs. Riding here with your buds is what this Rally is all about. A single putt can take you up the winding switchbacks of Ski Run Road to the Sierra Blanca lookout where the 11,000 foot elevation offers a panorama so beautiful it will take your breath away…but, do remember to breathe as this altitude doesn’t offer a lot of air! Then drop down into Lincoln, the historic old west town where the infamous Billy the Kid shot his way into story books and movies. You’ll have time left over to visit Smokey Bear’s grave site in the town of Capitan on your return to Ruidoso. The next day may see you visiting White Sands National Monument in the morning and having lunch in the mountains of Cloudcroft that afternoon, or, looking for Aliens in Roswell and dining in the Tinny Saloon on your way back to Ruidoso. Your riding choices are limitless!

Friendly Ruidoso, New Mexico offers a myriad of delights for the weary rider. We’re known for our incredible food and lively night life; Ruidoso always throws out the welcome mat making all comers feel at home. Many bikers like to belly up to the bar at the various saloons for a little refreshment and a chance to exchange stories while some enjoy heading back to the lodge for a little home cooking and a relaxed evening on the porch. Either way, Ruidoso offers it all making the “AspenCash Motorcycle Rally” the Southwest’s most popular motorcycle event.
TIP: Book your “lodging” early as the Village fills up for this event.
